The Power BI Developer (Embedded SaaS Reports) plays a crucial for transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling clients to make informed business decisions. By developing highly interactive, embedded analytics within our SaaS platform, this role enhances usability, performance, and data accessibility, ensuring that insights are seamlessly integrated into the user experience. A well-structured data model, optimized DAX calculations, and efficient Power Query transformations ensure data integrity, scalability, and fast performance, making analytics both powerful and user-friendly.

Beyond technical execution, this role drives business growth and competitive differentiation by delivering impactful visualizations that help clients identify trends, risks, and opportunities. High-quality, self-service BI dashboards empower users, increase engagement, and add value to our SaaS offering, improving customer retention and adoption. Additionally, the Power BI Developer collaborates cross-functionally to align reporting solutions with business goals, ensuring that our analytics infrastructure scales with future needs and industry advancements.

KlariVis is headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia. This is an in-office position.

• Proven experience developing embedded Power BI reports in an iframe-based ecosystem.
• Strong technical expertise in Power BI, including Power Query (M), DAX, and star schema modeling for optimized data processing.
• Extensive experience designing and building highly interactive dashboards with complex data relationships, applying data visualization best practices for effective decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and optimization challenges in Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience querying and optimizing data sources for efficient report generation.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple data sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, data-driven insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable reports for stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile software development environments (preferred).
• Banking or financial industry experience (preferred).
