We are an innovative EdTech SaaS company based in Fresno, CA, seeking an energetic and driven Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities to fuel our growth. This role involves strategic outreach, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of our products and the education technology market.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential clients through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events. Build and maintain a pipeline of leads to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Qualification & Relationship Building: Qualify leads as sales opportunities based on specific criteria, such as their needs, budget, and decision-making process. Establish strong relationships with potential clients by understanding their business challenges and offering solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Collaboration & Strategy Execution: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies. Provide insights and feedback from prospective clients to help refine marketing campaigns and product offerings.

Experience:

  • Proven Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a business development or sales role, preferably in the EdTech or SaaS industry. A track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage and influence potential clients, articulate value propositions clearly, and maintain professional relationships.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and research skills to identify trends in the education sector and understand market dynamics. Ability to use CRM software to track leads and manage sales activities efficiently.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education Technology, or related fields.
  • Motivation & Drive: Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and a passion for sales. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and pursue new business opportunities with persistence and resilience.
