We’re backed by top investors, trusted by leading clubs, and scaling fast. Now, we’re looking for a driven Account Executive to help us take the next big leap.
What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive at Playbypoint, you'll drive both new business acquisition and customer growth. You'll identify new opportunities, close new clients, and ensure that every customer you bring in grows with us over time. You’ll act as both a trusted advisor and a revenue driver, focused on delivering long-term value.
- Own the full sales cycle: from sourcing and qualifying leads to product demos and closing contracts
- Prospect daily through a mix of outbound emails, cold calls, and creative outreach (we love hustle + personality)
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quota
- Build and manage a pipeline of inbound and outbound opportunities using CRM tools (we use Hubspot, Slack, and Monday)
- Conduct tailored product demos and discovery sessions that map our platform to customer goals
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to deliver a best-in-class experience
- Monitor customer health and proactively address churn risks
- Stay on top of industry trends, competitor moves, and customer needs
- Collaborate closely with onboarding and account management to ensure a smooth handoff and exceptional customer experience
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, helping shape future product development and strategy
You'll be a great fit if:
- Have 3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, ideally in a high-velocity, early-stage startup environment
- Love building relationships and closing deals—you’re energized by both hunting and farming
- Are highly organized and can manage a full pipeline of prospects and active accounts
- Know how to sell value, not just features; you’re consultative, curious, and customer-first
- Communicate with clarity, confidence, and energy—whether over Zoom or at a Trade Show
- Are self-directed, scrappy, and energized by fast-moving environments
- Love pitching in, taking initiative, and have never said “that’s not my job”
- Bonus: You’re familiar with the sports or fitness industry, or have a passion for racquet sports like tennis or pickleball
- Bonus: Bilingual in English and Spanish
