Your Mission – You will join our team as our Content Lead. You will be creating engaging and informative content for Sprocket Security. You will be a creative thinker and excellent communicator who can collaborate effectively with internal teams and external experts to produce high-quality content across various formats, including blogs, white papers, product marketing materials, webinars, and podcasts.
Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit compelling content, including blogs, white papers, case studies, product marketing materials, and more, that aligns with our brand voice and strategy
- Thought Leadership: Collaborate with internal and external cybersecurity experts to produce thought leadership content, such as webinars, podcasts, and expert blog posts
- Content Strategy: Drive the content strategy and editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to content creation and distribution
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to understand content needs and ensure alignment with overall business goals
- SEO and Analytics: Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and analyze content performance to inform future content strategies
- Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content and ensure all materials meet the company’s quality standards
- Project Management: Manage content projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in creating marketing content, preferably in the IT or cybersecurity industry
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content
- Proven ability to produce high-quality content across various formats.
- Experience with content management systems and marketing automation
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content analytics tools
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling
- Excellent collaborator and team player
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
